I saw people asking about this on a couple of the Tribes tumblrs so yeah this is a radio rip of ‘Houses’ from 2010. Unfortunately can’t get rid of Zane Lowe being irritating without cutting out a bit of the song but you do get to hear Matt Smith momentarily gushing about Johnny so swings and roundabouts right?
Here we go boys and girls! This isn’t on the mixtape. It’s got Operahouse vibes about it…
Who will Tribes be expecting to see here? Four of my favourite bands are going but as always, exams ruin everything so I wont be there. Bummed.

I do indeed. There’s another set of demos »here which are mostly initial recordings of some of their released songs, but also two songs ‘Wrapped Up In A Carpet’ and ‘With You’ that you may not have heard before.
I can’t post the demo tape I got at Dingwalls for reasons I’ve outlined in »answering this question before

Could possibly be one of the tracks on their cassette demo. So far I’ve been able to name 2/6. I shall ask them next time I see them if I’m not too drunk to remember like I have been the last few times…
